Phoenix tattoo on back
This tattoo combines two images: the mythical Phoenix bird and the Sesa Wo Suban (an adinkra symbol). The Sesa Wo Suban symbol comes from a Ghanaian proverb that loosely translated means, "I've transformed my life character" while the Phoenix represents re-birth, re-generation, and becoming a new being, etc.
